Content Index replaces the Classification page

Content Index is now the home for all of your classified content in Lytics, replacing the Classification page for every account. Your content is still classified and enriched exactly as before, and everything the Classification page offered now lives in Content Index, with better tools to explore it.

What's new

  • Overview gives you classification health at a glance: URL analysis trends over time (with optional alert thresholds for unusual spikes or drops), the share of recently analyzed URLs that generated topics, and your most recently analyzed URLs.
  • An improved Content flow diagram shows where URLs drop out of the pipeline, whether they are blocked by robots.txt, filtered by your domain and path settings, or failing to fetch. Click a stage to see recent example URLs so you can diagnose issues without guessing.
  • The URLs tab lets you browse and search every indexed URL, filter by enrichment status or content collection, and see the topics assigned to each.
  • Manually analyze a URL replaces the old manual classification tool: test any URL, preview its metadata and topics, adjust topic assignments, and add it to your index. When an analysis fails, you get a clearer diagnosis of what went wrong.
  • The Insights tab carries over the dashboard from the Classification page, unchanged.

What you need to do

  • Nothing. Old Content → Classification links redirect to Content Index automatically, and a dismissible in-app notice points the way during the transition.
