Infobip — activate Lytics audiences across SMS, email, and WhatsApp

The new Infobip integration connects Lytics to Infobip's omnichannel communications platform, so the audiences you build in Lytics can drive cross-channel messaging — and the contacts and engagement living in Infobip can flow back into your profiles. Sync audience membership to Infobip People, send triggered SMS, and bring Infobip contacts into Lytics, all backed by the cross-channel behavior, data science scores, and content affinities that power your audiences.

What's new

  • Export audiences to Infobip People. Members of a Lytics audience are tagged in Infobip in real time, with any mapped profile fields synced to standard fields and custom attributes — so you can build Infobip segments and trigger messaging off Lytics audience membership.
  • Send triggered SMS. Fire a personalized SMS through Infobip the moment a user enters an audience — order confirmations, shipping updates, welcome texts — with per-recipient handlebars tokens drawn from profile fields.
  • Import Infobip contacts. Pull Infobip People into Lytics on the infobip_contacts stream, including their Infobip tags, so you can build audiences from Infobip contact data and audience membership. Runs incrementally on an hourly schedule with Keep Updated.
  • Trigger email and WhatsApp. Sync the audience to Infobip and let an Infobip Flow send your authored template, or POST directly to Infobip's send endpoints with an Audience Triggers Webhook — template starters included for both channels.

How it works

Connect with an Infobip API key and account Base URL. Exports and SMS sends are real-time with a one-time backfill on start; users are matched to Infobip People by email, falling back to phone. The contact import is idempotent — re-importing updates the existing Lytics user instead of creating a duplicate.
