Inline Job Monitoring — notifications configured on the job itself

Inline Job Monitoring lets you turn on notifications for a single job right where you manage it — no separate alert job to stand up. Choose which events matter and where the alerts should go, and the job carries that configuration itself.

What you can do

  • Get notified when a job starts, syncs, completes, is updated, goes to sleep, starts erroring, fails, or is deleted — pick only the events your team cares about.
  • Send those alerts to Email, Slack, or Microsoft Teams (or any combination).
  • Turn on monitoring from the Monitoring row on a job's summary page, or from the jobs list — including selecting several jobs and applying one configuration to all of them at once.
  • Spot monitored jobs at a glance: the jobs list shows a monitored indicator on jobs that have it enabled.

How it works

Monitoring lives on the job itself, so there's nothing extra to maintain and changes take effect without restarting the job. Alerts reuse the same Slack/Teams cards and email delivery as Lytics' existing Job Alerts, so account-wide and multi-workflow alerting keep working exactly as before. Configuring monitoring requires job-management access; everyone else sees the configuration read-only.
