Flow metrics — hourly counts for every step and branch

Flow metrics for versions created on or after October 15, 2026 now count every move a user makes from one step to the next, and refresh hourly instead of once a day. Every step and every branch has its own number.

What's new

  • Entered counts every entry, including users who re-enter.
  • Completed counts every way out of the flow: the end of a path, a split that couldn't place the user, or a step that was removed.
  • Active is Entered minus Completed: the users still in the flow.
  • Wait steps show how many users are waiting at that step right now.
  • Split steps count each branch, including branches that lead straight out of the flow, which used to show "—".
  • A number that is still loading, or failed to load, shows "—" rather than 0.

Scope

  • Older flow versions, drafts, and templates keep their daily snapshot metrics, so their numbers don't change.
  • A new version can read differently from an older version of the same flow, because it counts every way out.

See Flow Metrics for how each number is defined.
