Spotify — export Lytics audiences for audio advertising
about 6 hours ago
The new Spotify integration lets you activate Lytics audiences against Spotify's listener base, so the same first-party segments you already use for email and display can drive audio campaigns in Spotify Ad Studio.
What's new
- Reach known customers with audio creative. Send any Lytics audience to Spotify as a customer-list audience and target it from Spotify Ads Manager — useful for re-engagement, suppression, lookalike seeds, and loyalty campaigns that already live in Lytics.
- Match on email or mobile ad ID. Map an email field, a mobile advertising ID (IDFA/AAID), or both as the matching key. Lytics SHA-256–hashes identifiers before upload so raw PII never leaves the platform.
- Stay in sync automatically. Schedule daily, weekly, or monthly refreshes and the Spotify audience is updated in place — no manual re-uploads, no managing CSV exports.
How it works
The integration uses Spotify's Ads API v3 with a standard Spotify Sign-In authorization. Each scheduled run does a full replacement of the Spotify audience with the current Lytics audience contents, so the segment in Spotify always reflects the latest membership.
A few Spotify-side constraints worth knowing up front:
- Customer-list uploads require at least 1,000 hashed identifiers — smaller audiences won't push until they cross the threshold.
- Uploads are capped at 1 GiB per run; very large audiences should map a single identifier type rather than both.
