Using your DAL

Once your DAL is fully configured, you'll gain the insights you need to power smarter, more effective marketing across channels via the Audience Insights app. With so many possibilities, it can be tough to know where to start — here are three high-impact places to begin:

Audience Insights Dashboard

Within your Stack, navigate to “Audience Insights” via the “Apps” menu at the top of the page.

You’ll be greeted with a set of high-impact insights designed to help you understand which content is performing well, identify potential gaps in your strategy, and see what’s truly resonating with your audience.

Opportunity Explorer

The Opportunity Explorer provides a clear, digestible view of which topics are resonating and driving results — and which may be underperforming.

The visualization is divided into four quadrants, mapping the intersection of urgency and value. Topics in the bottom-left quadrant may warrant less focus for now, while those in the top-right quadrant represent high-impact opportunities to better engage your audience.

Even better, you can turn these insights into action by creating refined audiences and delivering personalized experiences that align with what your users care about most.

Audience Explorer

Looking to explore a specific audience in more detail? The Audience Explorer makes it easy. Select an audience to see which topics are most commonly shared among its members.

You can also dive deeper into individual topics to understand how interest is distributed — are users highly engaged, or just moderately interested? These simple yet powerful insights can directly inform more effective content strategies, personalized experiences, and beyond.

Entry Insights

The insights go beyond the global app level. When viewing a specific entry, you'll find a new "Audience Insights" sidebar app that provides real-time analysis of the content you're working on or aiming to improve.

See which topics the entry aligns with—and, more importantly, how strongly it resonates with your target audiences. This gives content managers and strategists a powerful advantage, turning every piece of content into a data-driven opportunity.

Personalization

Last but certainly not least—because your audiences are synced between your Stack and the DAL, you now have full access to hyper-targeted, user-specific audiences within Personalize.
